SAPHIR®
AN ABRASION RESISTANT, ANTI-GRAFFITI POLYCARBONATE SHEET WITH EXCELLENT CHEMICAL RESISTANCE
SAPHIR® is a hard-coated polycarbonate sheet, glass like in appearance. The high impact strength of polycarbonate is combined with improved weatherability and chemical resistance, high protection against abrasion as well as extremely good anti graffiti properties.

WEIGHT AND CLARITY
SAPHIR® weights about half of standard glass, yet is virtually unbreakable. SAPHIR® also has an outstanding clarity, in fact, the hard coat improves the light transmission when applied to polycarbonate.
CHEMICAL RESISTANCE AND ANTI-GRAFFITI
SAPHIR® is resistant to many of the most common chemicals, and the hard coat also provides an excellent protection against vandalism as paint and ink does not stick to the coated surface. This makes SAPHIR® the first choice in environments where glass or PMMA constantly needs replacing due to vandalism.
IMPACT STRENGTH
SAPHIR® has more than twice the impact strength of PETG and more than 10 times the impact strength of high impact PMMA. In combination with the superior anti scratch properties of the hard coat SAPHIR® is virtually unbreakable.

Indoor and outdoor signs, shelving and racking systems, food displays/bin/dividers, thermoformed covers, vending machine faces, medical equipment (packaging etc), industrial equipment (machine coverings, machine protections and many different kinds of technical parts.
