Over 30 years ago Arla Plast was a pioneer in collecting Polystyrene and ABS off-cuts from our customers and reusing them to create a new recycled sheet material. In order to have a good surface quality we put a thin layer of virgin resin on top of the sheet and we became pioneers in co-extrusion technology. Today this technology is common throughout the industry. Arla Plast has progressed over the years although still retain the same values of recycling and minimising waste to reduce the impact on the environment.
Arla Plast strives in many ways throughout the company to encourage as low impact as possible on the environment. Examples can be seen throughout the company in purchasing and use of more environmentally friendly machinery and company cars.
We understand and actively work in our operations to minimise the impact on the environment. Even small environmental changes can have a big impact. Our commitment to environmentally responsible manufacturing is far-reaching. Arla Plast´s aim is to contribute to a more sustainable future.
Arla Plast has certified management systems for quality, environment and work environment. Both our ISO 14001 and our ISO 9001 certifications gained many years ago helps us in our overall quality, environment and health management in terms of production, distribution and service.
