President of EPSE
Erik Fröjd of Arla Plast AB, the Swedish extruder of PC solid & multiwall, ABS & PETG, has been elected “President of EPSE” for a term of 2 years. Erik Fröjd has been with Arla Plast for 14 years and holds the post of Commercial Director with the innovative extruder. EPSE is the European Polycarbonate Sheet Extruders association which develops and promotes the use of quality polycarbonate sheets in the European market. EPSE was created in 2003 by five prominent polycarbonate sheet manufacturers as a sector group of EuPC, the European organisation for plastics converters.
The organisations purpose is to follow three main routes: · to promote PC sheets in all its applications · to carry out data collection · to develop quality and technical standards. There are now 9 key members of the organisation including resin suppliers, who meet regularly to discuss the aims of the group with a view to increasing the market knowledge.
